Hannah Just is a soprano currently based in Manchester. She is an undergraduate student at the Royal Northern College of Music, under the tutelage of Yvonne Howard. Previous teachers include, Adriana Festeu and Amanda Ballard. Hannah has also participated in masterclasses with performers such as Alison Pearce. Her work ethic is strong and she is a versatile and enthusiastic performer, keen to put in the maximum effort to achieve the highest standard.
Growing up in the West Midlands, Hannah has obtained a variety of performance experience. She has worked closely with the BBC on numerous occasions, including performing as the guest soprano for their annual 'A Celebration of Christmas' concert at the Malvern Theatres, and as a featured soloist in their Children In Need fundraiser, 'Do You Hear the People Sing?' at the Chateau Impney. Hannah has been regularly broadcast on radio through both live and pre-recorded performances. She has performed with Bradford Chorale as their soprano soloist for both Vivaldi's Gloria and Andrew Wright's A Requiem For Peace. She also performed in Derren Brown's Showman UK tour in 2022.
In June 2022, Hannah was invited to performer as part of a charity opera concert at Worcester's Guildhall, raising money for the Ukraine. Hannah has sung as part of the CBSO Youth Chorus with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, frequently performing at Birmingham Symphony Hall under conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle and Sir Mark Elder. Hannah most recently performed in the Symphony Chorus of Bernstein's Mass at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, conducted by Clark Rundell, as part of the RNCM 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
Hannah's opera experience includes, 'Dido' in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, (Leeds Conservatoire 2021), '2nd Genii' in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at York Theatre Royal (York Opera 2021) and most recently as part of the chorus in Strauss' Die Fledermaus (RNCM 2022).
